Rangers defeat Yankees at Rangers Ballpark

The Texas Rangers challenged the the New York Yankees yesterday at Rangers Ballpark with the Rangers triumphant 4 to 1. It was a thrilling night of baseball that anyone with Rangers tickets will definitely cherish. It’s not too late to take in a game so get your baseball tickets soon!

Rangers pitcher Cliff Lee (3.28 ERA) got the win, while Dustin Moseley (4.89 ERA) took the loss for the Yankees. Cliff Lee went 8 solid innings for the Rangers, allowed 2 hits, no home runs and one earned run with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. The Yankees’s starter Dustin Moseley went 6.2 innings, allowed 5 hits, no home runs and 4 earned runs with 2 walks and one strikeout. Jonathan Albaladejo (1.59) also pitched for the Yankees. With the win, Lee’s record goes to 11-8, while Moseley falls to 4-3. Neftali Feliz earned the save for the Rangers, bringing his saves up to 36.

In addition to the 4 runs, the Rangers managed 7 hits and committed no errors. It wasn’t a huge day for anyone at the plate for the Rangers, as nobody managed more than 2 hits. The Yankees didn’t have anyone with a big night with not one batter getting more than 2 hits. The Yankees mustered one run, 2 hits and no errors.
